Trip Description: Friendship evangelism with Japanese college students.

 

When? Usually in May for about 3 weeks.

 

Who can join? Christian college students, young adults, and possibly high school juniors and seniors, who seek to make God first in their life, who are growing in a church fellowship context, and who are accepted according to an application process. Priority will be given to those who live in the Orlando, Florida area. A limited number will be accepted for the trip (probably 4 ~ 5). 

 

Where? Osaka and Tokyo.

 

Cost: $1900 + an estimated $1600 for airfare (estimated total = $3500). Includes: plane fare, insurance, food, transportation in Japan, lodging, administration, scheduled sightseeing, pre-departure orientation, and training/guidance on fund raising.

 

Other details:

Participants will be helping and befriending Japanese college students in an English club at a university in Osaka. We’ll stay at Suita Bible Gospel Church in Osaka. We’ll also invite Japanese college students to some fun English-game night events. A large part of the mission will be to follow up with Japanese alumni of the Homestay International program in Orlando, Florida and to invite new students to join. We’ll also have several sightseeing opportunities and gain a greater vision for missions in Japan. In Tokyo we'll stay in a hotel, do some sightseeing and meet several Japanese alumni of the homestay program. 

 

Experience and Safety: Mission To Japan has been leading mission trips to Japan many years since 2001. Compared to most countries, Japan has a low rate of crime and is a safe country. 

 

Raising Funds: Most college students will need to raise funds. Mission To Japan will train you on how to do this. ​​
